Stay hungry... Stay foolish

Three stories from Steve Jobs's life, that i found stunning and must be shared :
1) First story is about connecting the dots: you can't connect the dots looking forward, you can only connect them looking backwards, you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in the future, you have to trust in something? God, destiny, life karma whatever because belive in the dot connect down the road will give you the confidence to follow your heart even when it leads you off the well-worn path and that would make all the difference
2) Love and loss: sometimes life hits you in the head with a brick, don't lose faith, the most thing that keep you going, is that you should love what you do. So you've got to find what you love and that is as true for your work as it is for your lovers, your work is going to fill a large part of your life and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work and the only way to do great work is to love what you do, if you havn't found it yet, keep looking and don't settle. as with all matters of the heart, you will know when you find it and as any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking, Don't settle
3) Death: if you live each day as it was your last, someday you'll most certainly be right, you ask yourself in the mirror: if today were the last day of your life, what you want to do what you are about to do today? and whenever the answer is no in a row, you should know you need to change sthing. Remumbering that you ll be dead soon, is the most important tool you ever encounter to help you making big choices in life because almost everything, all external explanations all pride, all fear of embassement or failure, these things just fall away in the face of death. leaving only what is important, remumbering that you're going to die is the best way to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose, you're already naked there is no reason not to follow your heart. death is a usefull but purely intellectual concept: no one wants to die, yet death is the destination we all share no one has ever escaped it, death is very likely the single best invention of life, it's life's change agent, it clears out the old to make way for the new and right now the new is you, but someday you ll become gradually the old and be cleared away. Your time is limited so don't waste it living someone else's life, don't be trapped by dogma which is living with the results of other people's thinking, don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice and most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition, they somehow already know what you truly want to become, everything else is secondary
stay hungry... stay foolish....
